The annual Oamaru Short Course, held on Saturday, October 14, attracted over 100 athletes from the region and neighbouring areas. It was an excellent event, with many young swimmers present, building their confidence in racing. Congratulations to all who took part in the meet. We hope you enjoyed it and look forward to seeing you again soon!

In addition to placing ribbons, 236 Personal Best Ribbons were distributed among the swimmers in attendance, reflecting their hard work and dedication. Let's continue this fantastic effort!

Working alongside the Oamaru Swimming Club to organise and assist with delivering this competition was a pleasure. We would like to extend a big thank you to all those who made this competition possible - from the hardworking Oamaru Swimming Club Committee who worked behind the scenes, to our amazing group of technical officials, to all those who volunteered as timekeepers or in other capacities, and to the generous sponsors who made the meet possible. Thank you all!
